I have a question then. I am not one for undermining other service
organizations HOWEVER why should our decisions be dependent on the
weakness of another organization?

If so many of the GSS sisters would quit GSS to join APO, there seems
to be some serious internal problems in GSS. I realize that nationally,
Gamma Sig has around 70 chapters. I would hope that they know how to recruit
and attract members besides being known as a female-only version of APO.
If not, they've been asleep at the wheel for the last 15+ years.

Just as APO must adapt to face the changing times, so must GSS. BTW,
I received the charter / colony packet from the Gamma Sig "national office"
last year when I was researching them. I also attended numerous meetings at
Drexel University..both general and executive committee.

To be honest, on a chapter level, I didn't find them that weak.
Are there other service organizations on your campus that ARE co-ed?
That didn't destroy GSS did it?

I don't question the right of chapters to remain all-male. But I don't
believe that saying GSS will die if APO went co-ed is a valid argument.
