People, I tried my best. This Toast Song issue has certainly
gotten the better of me!
I've been trying desperately to find a good compromise for us.
But, it seems not many people were willing to listen to me. I
have received very few flames, and I am grateful for that. But,
I do not believe I have received your understanding either.
I have tried to keep my posts logical and concise, and I have
tried to look at both sides of the issue, as I have also tried to
get you to see the issue from the other sides.
It seems, however, that the 2 sides are still hell-bent on
staying that way until the bitter end, no matter what is said.
I hate to be saying all of this, but it seems like nobody is
willing to seek a compromise. Why?
It seems to me that some of you are unwilling to agree on a
compromise situation, and because of that, all of us may be
faced, once again, with an unpleasant decision.
I will take whatever decision is made at this upcoming National
Convention with a grain of salt if necessary and go on.
But, I don't think I can accomplish anything anymore by arguing
this issue. Everyone has his/her own opinion, and those opinions
sure are tough to beat.
I will still be here to receive your criticism, but I don't know
if I'll respond anymore. I've made my opinions known, and that's
that. I just hope you can interpret them properly.
I'm sorry for the uneasy content of this message, but I am trying
to express what position all of you are putting me in. So many
people are confusing the issue, and not enough of you are working
together. That is how I feel.
Good luck!
Sincerely & a bit distraught,
Jeremy Gagliardi
