If your chapter has exhausted internal fund-raising options, don't
dispair. Please don't forget to look into funding outside APO, to see
it is available to you. For example, practically all the state-funded
schools in California provide some subsididy for the voting delegates
attending National Conventions (either or some combination of
registration, transportation, lodging, meals, etc.). In addition,
other parts of a university may have some money to help fund
attendance as an educational experience. If that doesn't work, check
your chapter or local alumni association for scholarships. Every
chapter should be represented at the convention - it's your right
and your duty!
