I just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions and help with my need
for the Tax Exempt #. Just for anyone who is curious, and all of those who
responded that they did not know, but let them know when I found out: We do
have a # as a National non profit organization, but apparently each chapter
has their own individual # as well. If you are a petitioning group somewhere
where there has never been a chapter you may need to wait to get your own
number until you get your charter. If you need your chapter's tax exempt
# you should call Judy or Pat at the National Office (they are wonderfully
helpful)!
