First of all, an apology may be in order. A few brothers pointed out
that I was bringing up a discussion that has already been discussed a
few weeks ago. We have been having problems with the Internet
connection and it would seem that I have missed a lot of messages
(that would explain what it seems so quite to me). So if I am
rehashing, I apologize.
As for some comments I've received in regards to discussing things
that can't be changed so why waste the time, we're not wasting time
because things can be changed. This is an undergraduate fraternity
and the undergrads make the rules. If they don't like something, they
can change it. That is what the National convention is for.
As for the Board making recommendations on the toast song, I am
sincerely interested in what people think about it. I have some
definite opinions on the subject, but I would like to hear what other
brothers think. Should the Board make recommendations on subjects as
volatile as the gender issue, or should that be left to the
undergraduates?
