Yes, I know. This goes against the grain trying to post
something for Brothers only, but I felt it was necessary.
If you are not a Brother, please stop reading this. If you do
read it, please refrain from investigating what I'm about to say.
It has been brought to my attention (I haven't gone throught it
yet) that the last packet from the National Office on Nationals has
amendments pertaining to the Initiation Ritual in it with several direct
references. Now, I know at our chapter and I think most (all?) chapters,
Initiation is a secret ritual. So to avoid a pledge or perspective from
accidentally perusing the material and finding it, I would suggest that
you seclude the pertinent information.
Ps: Yes, I know. I HOPE that I'm not making a mistake in pointing this
out. I'm trusting any pledge/soon-to-be-Brother not to take this and
rush to read the info. It really would tarnish the specialness and
anticipation of Initiation, so please don't do it.
