Did anyone else notice the misprint of the proposed new verse? Instead of
"Brothers...", it states "Bothers...". Considering my opinion of the
third verse, I think that the misprint ought to pass! Oh, and what about
this "Chapter house" proposal - what do ya'll think about that? I think
it might be pretty cool...except when it comes to co-ed chapters having a
house. Think of what the insurance would be...esp. if it was in the Deep
South! Co-eds?!? In a fraternity house? The City of Auburn doesn't
even allow that (considering none of our frat houses are on university
property)! Of course, we wouldn't have too much of a problem since we
are still all-male...I even think I like the idea of a frat house. I also
noticed that anything that had to do with the BSA was proposed to be struck out
except for one thing that was in the "Rituals" part of the proposed
admendments. How does that sound to ya'll? I know that my chapter probably
won't vote 'yea' on that one...(notice I said PROBABLY b/c "these are my views,
not that of the chapter's", but am I not a member of my chapter and make
decisions, too?) Oh, and about the proposed alcohol policy - you mean we
might have to start having a guest list AND check I.D.'s b/c this alcohol
policy that we are supposedly adopting will "check" the chapters and
their members to make sure no unauthorized consuming is being done? And,
yes, I am one of the many brothers who will be consuming alcohol in many
forms at National Convention in December. Anyone know of any good bars
or liquor stores in Dallas?

*Note - I have been reading the list, like sooooo many other brothers out
there, and FINALLY decided to say SOMETHING - Oh, and BTW, to understand
this post, you must have, at least, some knowledge of the proposals and
resolutions for the convention this winter - hope to hear SEVERAL
comments about this post...it should be fairly funny to hear all of the
other views on these topics...I'm sure there are many out there! Take it
and run, guys!*
