To Everyone in Region 6 (and elsewhere if interested):
Mu chapter is happy to announce that we will be holding a black-tie
optional banquet on Friday, December 2 in celebration of our 65th
anniversary this semester. There will also be a service project and
initiation the same weekend, and we'd love to have lots of brothers there
to share our initiation ceremony with us.
If you are in Region 6 you will be receiving a copy of our Alumni
Newsletter (if we have your chapter's address, that is), which gives lots
of details. There are a few things I'd like to elaborate upon, however.
- Collegiate tickets are $17.50, not $22 as mentioned in the
newsletter.
- If you have brothers who wish to attend but would like to stay with
some Mu brothers instead of at a hotel, please send us a list of
their names, genders, host gender preferences, and e-mail addresses
(or phone # if no e-mail).
- If your chapter is holding initiation that weekend and can't come
because of that, we would be happy to arrange a joint initiation
here in Bloomington, IN (let us know ASAP).
The deadline for reservations is Nov. 18 (we can squeeze you in until Nov.
28 with an additional $2.50 late fee for the caterer). Since we know that
chapters often don't meet every week, please bring this up at your next
chapter meeting so if anyone's interested they can send in the return
portion of the newsletter as soon as you get it.
Mu chapter is notorious for keeping to itself in our section (52) and
region, and we'd like this to be the beginning of a lot of interchapter
activity. If we don't see you at the beginning of December, we'll see you
at the end!
