one fundraiser that worked really well in High school was to have a free
car wash. that's right free car wash. What happens is that everyone gets
people to sponser a person on the total number of cars that the whole
group washes that day. Like if a person says that they will pay one penny
per car and you wash 500 then that's five dollars. also for those that
didn't want to pledge a number they paid a flat rate of two dollars.
needless to say with a group of over 30 people we raised over 5,000
dollars. (we used the money to go to a music festival in Santa Barbara).
It works well. What you need to do is get a resturant to foot the bill
for water. we used a Carl's Junior in California. also they need to have
a large parking lot. we washed over 700 cars. (people like things that
are free) Some people also gave us money out of the goodness of there
heart. one gave us $20 dollars. Overall I think that it's a great and
fun fundraiser
