OFFICE MEMO IMPORTANT NEWS FROM NAT OFC Date: 10/28/94
National Executive Director Patrick Burke asked me to broadcast the following
notices, which are being surface-mailed from the National Office today
(Friday, 10-28).
o For the night of Dec. 31, New Year's Eve, there are no more sleeping rooms
available at the Convention hotel, the Hyatt Regency DFW. There are still
plenty of rooms available for Dec.26-30, but New Year's Eve is booked.
HOWEVER, the Fraternity has contracted with a nearby hotel, the Sheraton
Grand, for rooms there on New Year's Eve for the $40-per-night Convention
rate. If you want to stay at the Sheraton Grand on New Year's Eve, call
1-800-345-5251 (you must call this number to get the Convention rate).
o One of the organizations (called "FEED") listed in the recently distributed
"National Service Day Handbook" no longer exists and the telephone number
that did belong to the group now belongs to a private citizen. Please *DO
NOT CALL* the number listed for the Foundation for Education about Eating
Disorders (FEED).
