Hi Liston,
The camporee sounds like a terrific project that will be lots of
fun. I was a Girl Scout for many years and although I am not quite sure
of what Boy Scouts do, but we had Extravaganzas and did campsite
competitions, Banner competitions, skits, lashing competitions, and
probably lots of other things I can't remember.
My Girl Scout Troop competed within itself and had firebuilding
competitions, knot tying, and compass course competitions.
I hope some of these ideas are helpful and that your petitioning
group has a super time doing the camporee.
