Date: Sun, 26 Jan 2003 17:21:37 -0500 From: alien <alien@MIT.EDU> To: MIT-Talk@MIT.EDU Hi guys, The yearbook is looking for kickass political mails from the past year to publish. If you have written or saved any, send them in ASAP! We're looking for strong, well-written pieces on topics from the past year (internal or external to MIT), such as the UA presidential election (money-for-voting), the Aimee Smith debate, dorm rush, new food places and coffeehouse closing, et cetera. Opinions on the MIT political system in general (such as the effectiveness of the UA, or student organization) are also quite welcome. We'd also like submissions about national and world politics. They don't have to be perfect or formal. If you feel that a piece written by someone else deserves to go in the book, send it on and we will ask permission from the author. Submissions may be edited for length or content (though naughty words are fine). By sending in a piece that you yourself have written, it is assumed that you consent to it being printed it the 2003 yearbook. As usual, the schedule is tight so please send submissions to alien@mit.edu in the next two days (tomorrow if possible). Cheers, alien Technique Lit. Editor --------------------------------------------------------------------- Documentation on the use of the mailing lists mit-talk, all-talk, mit-news, housing-talk, and the mit-talk Zephyr class is available at: http://web.mit.edu/institvte/talk/
