Actually, I'm pretty sure MIT can, and has, identified students who've
downloaded songs. I have a friend who, just last semester, recieved an email
from MIT asking her to stop downloading songs. She doesnt even have her 'own'
IP address... you'd be suprised how easy it is to track who is doing what on
the network.
