Well

I have dealt with Candace Royer in the past, through the swim team. She
is out on a crusade. She continuously misinformed us of her decisions,
lied, and made secret deals behind out backs. Additionally, she made
questionable calls that came very close to crossing the NCAA DVIII line
of misconduct. Only when we involved MIT admins did she sort of settle
down. It's all going to hell in that department.

My 2 cents.

What the hell? Who made the decision that MIT needs to go after the top
student-athletes? What is with the obsession with the
"well-roundedness" of the undergrad population??!!

"The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is recognized around the
world for the scientific achievements of its faculty and the brain power
of its whiz-kid, calculator-punching students. But deep inside one of
the planet's premier academic institutions, there is a feeling that it's
not getting enough attention in another arena."
