reported.ReutersAt least 40 are dead after a major earthquake struck Tuesday
near the Iran-Pakistan border, Iranian state-run Press TV says.An Iranian
official told Reuters that hundreds more are feared dead. State-run Pakistan
Television, meanwhile, said at least six people were killed on its side
of the border and at least 47 others were injured. Up to
1,000 mud homes were damaged, it added.The U.S. Geological Survey put the
preliminary magnitude of the earthquake at 7.8 and at a depth of
nine miles, and Iran's seismological center said it was centered near Saravan,
a sparsely populated area about 26 miles from the Pakistani border. Iranian
state TV said power and communications systems were down in the southeastern
province of Sistan and Baluchistan.Iran's Red Crescent said it was facing
a "complicated emergency situation," with villages scattered over desolate

on Beaver Jerry Mathers, announced the news of his passing on Facebook:
"I was so sad to hear today of the passing of my
dear friend and business associate Frank Bank, who played Lumpy on Leave
it to Beaver. He was a character and always kept us laughing.
My deepest condolences to Frank's family."Mathers played Theodore Beaver
Cleaver. The show ran from 1957 to 1963.For several years after Leave
it to Beaver ended, Bank continued to be on TV. He made
scattered appearances on Hollywood Squares and Family Feud.Later, he left
the spotlight to become a bond broker.But even with his new job
he still kept his ties to the Beaver clan. Mathers and Barbara
Billingsley were some of his clients.Billingsley, who played June Cleaver,
once told People magazine: "Frank is certainly brighter than Lumpy Rutherford,
and a very good stockbroker."

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">Former Sen. Richard Lugar is being knighted on orders from the Queen
of England, joining a select list of Americans to receive the distinction.The
Indiana Republican, who this year left the Senate after serving 36 years,
will receive the rank of honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent
Order of the British Empire during a ceremony at the British Embassy
in Washington on Tuesday. The British Ambassador, Sir Peter Westmacott,
is set to preside.Since leaving the Senate, Lugar has taken on various
roles, including leading the Richard G. Lugar Institute for Diplomacy and
Congress with the German Marshall Fund. He also serves as a distinguished
scholar and professor at the Indiana University School of Global and International
Studies.Lugar said he is deeply honored to be knighted. "I will focus
my service on solving our most serious challenges in a spirit of
cooperation between our countries," he said in a statement Monday.He said
he was first inspired by Queen Elizabeth's leadership "when she received
me as the young Rhodes Scholar in London, 58 years ago and
asked me about Indiana."Lugar's studies at Oxford University were his first
outside of the United States. He went on to become one of
the Senate's foremost foreign policy experts, focusing much of his work
on nuclear proliferation issues and relations with Europe. Along with former
Sen. Sam Nunn, D-Ga., Lugar crafted legislation that helped eliminate nuclear
warheads in the forme
that more unexploded devices had been discovered."Two
and only two explosive devices were found yesterday," Patrick said.Authorities
searched an apartment in the nearby Boston suburb of Revere as part
of the investigation into the explosions. FoxNews.com saw federal, state
and local law enforcement entering the building late Monday night and early
Tuesday morning. Sources confirmed to FoxNews.com that the apartment being
searched in connection to the bombings is on the fifth floor of
