Why does it always terrify me when they try to 'unify the freshman
experience' and 'bring class concepts home' to the dorms? Oh yeah, Simmons.
(Yes, yes, I suppose that was flame-bait, sorry.)

Anyway, what do you mean by making the concentrations more transparent? And
does this mean that they'd essentially be adding a HASS GIR - that is, a
HASS that would be experienced much like 8.01, 18.01, etc, one with
different options but basically a common experience to all students?
