I'm not sure how much the housemaster-or-GRT-on-call system would work, 
because of the disorientation issue that you mentioned earlier. If a 
freshman is in a dorm other than his/her own dorm, he/she may not 
remember how to return to the front desk, because he/she came with 
another friend of theirs and that other friend wandered off. I don't 
know how likely this possibility is, but I just wanted to point it out 
for your consideration.
