NEW YORK Robert Downey, Jr. once again suits up in the
iconic red and gold suit for the third installment of the Iron
Man franchise, and as they say, third times the charm. Not only
is Iron Man 3 the best of the trilogy, its the best
Marvel film yet. Yes, even better than last summers uber-blockbuster The
Avengers. Its not that Iron Man 3 is distinctly different than the other
Marvel films, or even superhero films in general. In fact, Iron Man
3 takes the best pages from many other films like The Dark
Knight trilogy and Superman II. But the smart, bullet-train script, Downey,
Jr.s uproarious performance and an entertaining detective adventure make
Iron Man 3 unadulterated fun.Now that the awe of having all of
the Avengers together in one film is behind us, Iron Man 3
gets down to business with a compact, solid story building upon the
Avengers mythology while returning its focus to Tonys development without
sacrificing that expected Marvel universe spectacle.Robert Downey, Jr. hasnt
been more comfortable in a role than he is as Tony Stark,
and the actor knows it. He is right at home dishing insults
and throwing out obscure movie and pop culture references one moment then
zipping through the sky and rescuing a group of people falling from
Air Force One the next. Its a whirlwind of a role and
Robert Downey, Jr. makes it all look so incredibly easy. This is
the Robert Downey, Jr. show and we have the best seat in
the house.Though Iron M

newlyweds, romance and intimacy are mysteries. The book's co-author, David
S. Ribner, said it is meant to offer useful information to couples
both before their wedding night, an emotional time when they are expected
to consummate their marriage, and during their relationship leading up to
that, when they might face a slew of unfamiliar challenges."If you've never
seen a picture, if you've never talked about it, if you've never
seen a movie, if you've never had a conversation with parents or
friends, how exactly are you supposed to know the mechanics of that
particular activity?" said Ribner, an American-born sex therapist whose
Jerusalem clientele is made up of Orthodox Jews. Ribner's co-author is educator
Jennie Rosenfeld.Unlike secular Israelis, observant Jews are rarely given
sex education until the weeks leading up to their marriage, where the
prospective bride and groom are counseled separately on a variety of subjects,
including the logistics of intercourse, the importance of communication
and religious bedroom requirements and rituals.Ribner said the content of
the counseling is not always consistent, and couples don't receive all the
information they need to enjoy a healthy sex life. His book attempts to
set out in clear terms the nitty-gritty of sex, from foreplay and
kissing to mechanics, specifically aimed at young adults who are making
the transition from a life where sex is taboo to marriag

Charlotte area, home base of behemoth Bank of America Corp. He becomes
yet another high-profile African-American and the second North Carolinian
nominated by Obama in three days to a top government post. On
Monday, Obama nominated Anthony Foxx, mayor of Charlotte, to head the Transportation
Department.Watt, who has a consistently liberal voting record, is expected
to face Republican opposition to his confirmation and Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn.,
was among the first to express disappointment. The White House was already
lining up supporters who might hold some sway with GOP senators."This gives
new meaning to the adage that the fox is guarding the hen
house," Corker, a member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs
Committee, said in a written statement. "The debate around his nomination
will illuminate for all Americans why Fannie and Freddie failed so miserably."Corker
added that the administration should "explicitly lay out" its plans for
dissolving the government-sponsored lending companies before anyone is considered
for the FHFA's top job.The administration put forward a plan in 2011
to slowly dissolve Fannie and Freddie, with the goal of shrinking the
government's role in the mortgage finance system. But Congress has yet to
decide how much the government's role should be reduced.Erskine Bowles,

to vote against President Barack Obama's 2010 health care law.Gomez, 47,
was virtually unknown in Massachusetts politics before announcing his plan
to run for Kerry's seat earlier this year.Gomez, the son of Colombian
immigrants, celebrated his outsider status, wearing his lack of Washington
experience as a badge of honor. Gomez also had a compelling life
story, learning to speak English in kindergarten before going on to become
a Navy pilot and SEAL, earn an MBA at Harvard Business School
and launch a career in private equity.Gomez, of Cohasset, cast himself as
the new face of the Republican Party, which has struggled to reach
out to minority populations following the defeat last year of GOP presidential
candidate and former Gov. Mitt Romney.Gomez has introduced himself in Spanish
in campaign ads and on the stump in a state where Hispanic
voters are a small but growing slice of the population.Sullivan, an early
favorite among conservative Republicans, touted his law enforcement and
national security background, having helped investigate the Sept. 11, 2001,
terror attacks and the failed attempt to blow up an airliner using
shoe bombs. But Sullivan, of Abington, collected the smallest amount of campaign
contributions of the three GOP candidates and was unable to run any
