as someone who does a lot of publicity work, i think that is absolutely
ridiculous. it does not take that much time to poster campus, particularly
if you break it up into pieces. also, i've found it really easy to
convince people to help me poster campus, or get others to do it for me
completely, without pay.
thus, if nomcomm members are too busy to spend...like, 30 minutes to an
hour
postering campus, i feel they could take 5 minutes to convince a friend to
poster for them.
and i should hope that if nomcomm spent a cent of its budget paying
someone just to poster campus, there would be an uproar. because as people
complained this year, the UA budget is/was being used on too many needless
things, and your arguement would make those complaints valid.
