Dirk,
sorry I know very little about win2000 and kerberos.
I am looking at setting up a UNIX based KDC soon and Im interested to find
out about the interoperabiliy issues with Windows.
I've read loads of documents but would be very interested to get the views
from someone who has already been through the process.
Did you look at any other UNIX based KDCs - eg: Suns "SEAM" ?
What can you actually do now that you have connected windows2000 to your MIT
KDC - ie: do you get kerberos clients built into windows2000 - what are
they, telnet & ftp ? are they any good ? Or do you use some other windows
kerberos clients from some other supplier ?
Why didnt you use the Windows-2000 KDC - was it because it couldnt be used
by the UNIX clients ?
Any help would be much appreciated
regards
Richard Jamieson.
