Only one file is transferred by kprop: from_master (or whichever
filename you specify), which is expected to be a database dump.
"kdb5_util stash" expects the database itself to exist already.
So here's what you should do:
start "kpropd ..." on the new slave
run "kdb5_util dump ..." on the master
run "kprop ..." on the master
"kdb5_util load ..." on the slave
"kdb5_util stash" on the slave
start "krb5kdc" on the slave
I don't know about that error you got from kprop though.
