FreeBSD is one of those OS's that requires you to issue a 'wait'
system call when a child process exits. Would that be the cause
of this error from 'make check' from krb5-1-4-3?
ERROR: error in gssapi.exp
ERROR: The system only has a finite number of ptys and you have many of them in use. The usual reason for this is that you forgot (or didn't know) to call "wait" after closing each of them.
