In order to join a domain as a server you're going to need something
like Samba's net ads join command.  I think you'll at least need an
LDAP client in addition to Kerberos.

You won't need to store the TGT, but you will need to store a
long-term password as well as an account name.

Also, there's really no way to do it without user configuration on the
initial setup.
