Hi everybody,
I've some trouble operating and using Kerberos Version5 beta2 on my Sparcstation2-SunOS
4.1.2:
- I can't change "manual" passwords using both kadmin or kdb5_edit,
it's fine for randomized passwords. It should be the database interface, but I
don't know where...
- for krlogind daemon:
* how can I put options on the inetd.conf klogin (or eklogin) line, -p for example?
* when I'm running it "as provided", I have a fatal error when the daemon is
comparing the request's port with IPPORT_RESERVED in krlogind code and the result is
"Connection from bad port".
I deleted this fatal message and I got a ticket for kcmd, and the login afterwards, as
it should be.
* when using the -x option in rlogin, I still have the above problem, plus
a "Read size" pb which, I think, is linked with the port pb.
I must tell my DES is not the MIT one.
- is there already a patch for Kerberos Version5 Beta2; my code is from September 92 ?
