I have been working through the IETF's Common Authentication
Technology Working Group to define security extensions in FTP.
An Internet Draft is available which describes the extensions.
The code and documents are available via anonymous FTP from:
thumper.bellcore.com:pub/lunt/ftp.tar.Z
net-dist.mit.edu:tytso/ftp-wg/ftp.tar.Z
Please keep in mind that the code and the Draft may change at any
time, until such time as the specification advances.
