I built the Sandia National Labs version of KerberosVb2 on a Sparc with SunOS
4.1.2 and ran krb5kdc and kadmind on the Sparc. I then ftp the application
binaries (kinit, rlogin, kftp, telnet, kpasswd, ... etc) to another Sparc
that runs SunOS 4.1.2. I tried to use kinit to get an initial ticket from
the krb server, but I received an error message:

shemp% kinit jian
Password for jian@RICE.EDU:
kinit: Generic error (see e-text) while getting initial credentials
shemp%

Then I login'd to the krb server and looked at the log file. The log file told
me some thing like the following:

May 27 16:23:06 rood krb5kdc[529]: AS_REQ: PREAUTH FAILED: host 128.42.5.7, jian@RICE.EDU for krbtgt/RICE.EDU@RICE.EDU (Decrypt integrity check failed)
May 27 16:23:06 rood krb5kdc[529]: AS_REQ: Generic error (see e-text) while processing request

Any idea what cause this problem? I apprecaite helps.
