Hello world,
I haven't found this problem in the FAQ, so here my question.
Kerberos V5 beta 5 installed without problems on DEC-Unix box.
- entered a few principals with kdb5_edit
- started krb5kdc
- successfull "kinit" on the local computer
--- now the problems ---
a) I get no syslog messages, although in syslog.conf the two lines exist:
local6.err /krb5/krb5.log
local6.info /krb5/krb5.log
b) When I try to change my principal password from a DEC Terminal
Server TS700a, the TS700a gives me a timeout error message, and
the krb5kdc dies gracefully without messages.
Does somebody can give me hint, where to investigate, in order
to find the error?
My primary goal is to have a simple authentication on the
terminal server ts700a :-(
