file names

When I have to make a filename <= 12 characters long, I have been truncating
the name of the file rather than removing vowels and abbreviating for these
reasons:
1. I doubt that I am going to have two functions in the same directory
whose first 10 letters are the same
2. This way, it is always easy to find the name of the source routine for
a file.
I am stripping off krb5_kt from libkt files and starting the file
implementations files with ktf_.
Please let me know if this is too objectionable. I could be
convinced to use the more conventional abbreviation method, but
I think that, since we usually go from function name to source
file rather than the other way around, and since going from file
to function name requires use of something like more, that this
method is preferable.
