On the other hand, we've gotten a lot of pushback from Greg Hudson on
the subject -- namely, "what makes kerberos so special?"  It turns out
that the only excuse we have for using *anything* that isn't in
"marginal make" is the shared library build rules... so maybe we
should rethink those instead...

I'll grant that an "include" mechanism would be useful - but we've
already got a workaround for the lack of that (pre.in/post.in.)
