We've gone through the differences between the Cygnus tree and the MIT
tree, and reduced them to brief descriptions. The first list contains
the changes that we think should pretty clearly go into the MIT tree;
most of them are simple bug fixes, with contained effect, and if we
weren't in a time crunch I'd just check them in. The second list
contains the things we can supply but have broader effect, and may
better be defered until after 1.0 is branched. All of these items are
in our KerbNet 1.0 release and shipping to customers. If I've been
too terse, let me know and I can expand or we can talk about
particular items.

Cygnus patches that should go into 1.0
================================================================
+ v4 rcp -x compatibility support
+ krshd "plumbing" fixes
+ kadmin/dbutil locking trick (and lib/kdb openclose fixes)
+ kadmin/dbutil dumpv4 expiration ("never") fixes
+ kadmin/dbutil loadv4 stashfile, default fixes
+ kdc: better edata error handling, memory management, sam support
+ kdc: v4: ken's multiple-server time skew fixes
+ krb524: fix free_keyblock redundancy
+ lib/kdb/kdb_cpw.c afs keytype fixes
+ dejagnu: set env(TERM) dumb, find ktutil, drain for gss, rlogin tests.
+ db2: overflow_page fixes, __P redef
+ db2 tests: better alternate dictionary support

Cygnus patches that we can send if you want them
================================================================
+ ftp ticket forwarding, v4 ticket support
+ telnet configury improvements (appl/telnet using a single configure.in)
+ component packaging (install-foo) rules
+ krb5.hin/k5-int.h rearrangement (for windows?)
+ kadmin/cli x9 and tl_data changes (in support of X9.9 token devices)
+ kdc: NOCACHE changes (big speed improvement, but a potential security
    concern; turns off both rcache and lookaside.)
+ krb524: cmu_seconds support (issue converted tickets with cmu-style time
    stamps for values from 128..191 ticks)
+ fast asn1 date encoders and cache support, and non-use of calloc
