How to build from a github checkout ?

Hi,
We are mirroring the krb5 code from github and I've noticed certain
build files are missing, most importantly 'configure'.
The wiki page (http://k5wiki.kerberos.org/wiki/Building) says to run
.src/autorecof to generate the build scripts, but I don't see the file
.src/autoreconf in my checkout either.
Perhaps the wiki is out of date?
Can someone please tell me how to generate configure from a github checkout?
