Subject: Authentication for an Xterm launched by rsh

We have a BBN TC2000 which will be used by many users from workstations
running the X window system. Allowing users to have their own .rhosts
files has proven to be a major weakness in computer security, allowing
viruses and the like to hop between machines very rapidly.

Is there a nice authentication package which would be available for rsh
under the X Window System? When a user on a remote workstation attempts
to rsh into the multiprocessor I would like a "password widget" to appear
so that the user must type his password to authenticate himself before the
rsh launch of xterm is allowed to proceed. Is anything like this available?
