You misunderstood me.  If these people, and the others like them,
actually had freedom, they wouldn't need civil disobedience.  

The analogy is to key recovery.  If it gets mandated, I could still
use PGP (unless they actually come take it off all my machines).  This
would be civil disobedience, not freedom.
