iso format/standard is not only thickness but also flexibility .... even
some proximity (iso 14443) cards have had problem in the past with
flexibiity standards because flex tests would stress the coils in the
plastic and cause the connection to the chip to break.

Batteries are perhaps more suitable for a CD.
