Actually, I just went through this evil process last week.

I finally settled on SecureDevice, because it didn't require that I switch
all my discs to 16 bit addressing.  It also did not require repartitioning,
which SecureDrive did.

Windows must have crashed 25-30 times in many different ways before I
finally (seem to have) got it stablized.

I'm sure now someone will tell me about some brutal security flaw in Secure
Device.

I would like to hear about better options.
