I'm almost certain some HAVE been produced. However, it is unlikely
that the owners of that equipment will step forward and show
themselves as that might obviate the value they have gained by
producing the devices.
What you are really asking is probably "when will public spirited
people build one?"
Well, unfortunately, $100,000 is a lot of money for an individual, and
that is about the minimum needed to attempt this. For a company, it is
less money, but still more than most can justify.
