PAYING HOMAGE TO TECHIES
San Jose Mercury News' Lubman reports, Issa "wooed Silicon
Valley" on 4/9, pledging to be the "the high-tech senator" who
understands and fights for tech issues. Comments "against a
federal law that restricts the export of encryption software,"
brought "sympathetic nods" from audience members. Issa "also
called for more visas for skilled foreign workers, another" hot
issue in the tech community (4/10).
