The $1000 for the 40 bit crack went to the UC Regents. Seems
like if they are concerned about their universities saying 'don't do
this' all they have to do is say 'well the money will go to you
anyway'.
I think Europeans are just not materialistic money grubbers
like those of us in the states. =)
