tri-strata security is a snake oil peddler.
i have seen a presentation of theirs under non-disclosure. i won't
comment on the technical content of their products except to say that
they (perhaps unwittingly) used the snake oil faq as a technology
roadmap..
several engineers and several managers saw the presentation. the
managers left the room thinking the technology was sound. the
engineers left the room convinced that it wasn't. fortunately, in
this case, the engineers shortly thereafter convinced the managers..
i'm not sure whether or not they really believe in the technology, but
they come across very enthusiastically. i can easily believe that
Atalla knows how to sell this stuff to senior management types who
have no crypto clue.
