We plan two kick-off events to celebrate the release of IBM Micro Payments:
New York, Oct. 15th - a half day event for selected customers. Agenda
include presentations by senior IBMers on IBM's e-commerce strategy,
products and research; overview by myself on secure payments, with focus
on IBM Micro Payments; product demo; and discussion with the customers.
Our goal here is to initiate some pilots in North America and to decide
on the readyness of the North American market for a widely-available
micro-payment offering.
Paris, Nov. 4th - a full day kick-off event for selected customers and
press. Agenda include presentations as above, as well as presentations
by customers and by invited expert speakers, and a press release on the
availability of IBM Micro Payments in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Note the NetWorld+InterOp event in Paris is Nov 2-6th.
Please contact me if you'll like to participate in either event.
See our external site, http://www.hrl.il.ibm.com/mpay for demo, downloads,
and documentation.
Best, Amir Herzberg
