give a look at Entrust/Solo (download URL: see bottom, my signature).
When you install it makes a new icon appear in MSWord, adds two lines to
the
MSWord File menu (open/save), does the same to Excel (no icon, only the
menus).
And it should have a program-line interface, so that you can build your
own
macros for other office products (WP, Lotus...).
It supports drag-and-drop encryption-signature-decryption-verification
(you drag the file/directory icon on Solo and it prompts you for the
passphrase, and then perform the appropriate operation depending on the
file you dragged)
Installation is straightforward (doubleclick the icon, answer two -three
menus, that's it)
Really nice (and should be free for personal use, if I remember
properly, for sure it is free for evaluation).
The trust model is the web of trust. I read somewhere (maybe on this
mailing list) that someone is putting together a list of international
Solo (and PGP) users public keys repositories
