Okay, then we have to persuade two groups of people that there is a
problem:

1) The people who do not perceive a problem. They send their email,
they surf the web, they're happy. Specifically, I'm thinking of the
other people in my Quaker meeting. Academics, mostly.

2) The other people who have never used a computer. Specifically, I'm
thinking of my mother and my next-door neighbor Andy. Mom is 74 years
old. She's not stupid, she just doesn't have a use for a computer.
Andy works in the college's physical plant and raises beef cattle on
the side. He's not stupid, he just doesn't have a use for a computer.

Geeks aren't terribly good at persuasion.
