Heads-Up for February!
In our continuing quest to walk the edge of the social/technology
envelope without getting nasty paper-cuts in sensitive places
(not to mention "'holding our own' at 'Open Meetings on US Soil'")
the February 1999 Cypherpunks Physical Meeting will be held
at the Edgewater West Resort in Oakland and will feature a
cinematic world premiere at the 1999 Cypherpunk Film Festival.

* Special Event/Film Festival:
The 1999 Cypherpunks Film Festival will feature the world premiere
of "Cryptic Seduction," billed as the "first Cypherpunk movie for adults."
Unnamed sources claim that the writer/producer Randy French, as well
as several of the film's thespians make personal appearances. The Film
Festival will begin sometime between 4:00 and 4:30 pm, depending on
various conditions such as satellite flyovers and sunspot activity.
N.B.: Some of us will gather for sweetmeats/etc after the meeting.**

The Edgewater West Resort is conveniently located at 10 Hegenberger
Road, ~1.3 miles EAST of the Oakland International Airport (OAK).

PARK near 10 Hegenberger Road, right across from the Hilton.
Meeting Room:
Onsite signage will indicate the "Cypherpunks" meeting room.

Meeting Notes:
Building:
The Edgewater venue is a high-security facility in the post-modern
California-style genre. Attire is casual/optional. Due to security
and sartorial prerequisites, only adult persons (21+ years) will
be allowed into this meeting, no exceptions.
Entry (to the facility) will be restricted to the guard-post at the
front on the West San Carlos side. Obtain a security badge from the
guards at that location. Pseudentities/nyms will be welcome.
