Look into ftp://ftp.javasoft.com/pub/hotjava/
hjb1_0sg should be the international version
hjb1_0sd should be the US / Canada version
Both are available for everyone in the world, as long you supply a
domain.com address on the web form. The docs for Hotjava are not so good,
they say: SSL Support (U.S. and Canada Release Only)
Is it so that the international version does not have SSL at all and US
version has crippled encryption? Or how otherwise can they make the US
version available for download to everyone in the world?
