Theoretically the Labour Party is committed to free encryption and no
mandatory gak, but then again, theoretically Jack Straw is a human
being, not a scum-sucking weasel for whom anal sex with Michael Howard
counts as masturbation (straw being the one reason why I couldn't bring
myself to register a proxy vote).
