Key escrow, Key recovery, TTP (Trusted Third Parties), PKI (Public Key
Infrastructure) are all terms which had normal meanings of either
something unrelated, or of backing up your own data for your own data
recovery purposes. These terms have all been co-opted, perverted, or
coined by governments in attempts to redefine the language to make
something unpalatable sound neutral or benevolent.
GAK (Government Access to Keys) says it all.
