If people can't respect the fact that someone would like to be referred to
by their appropriate gender, I question their sensitivity and compassion. I
call everyone a brother, enless someone asks otherwise - and if they do, I
do my best to respect that. I do service, but I am not a woman. I would not
like being called a woman, BECAUSE I AM NOT A WOMAN.
When the APO was first started, what is now the National President was know
as the "Supreme Grand Master." It was changed. We're still here. We're
stronger than ever, and will be stronger a decade from now. BUT WE CANNOT
SEPARATE GROWTH AND CHANGE.
It comes down to this: are we going to make changes that will lead APO in
new, healthy directions, or are we going to hold on to an outdated remnant
or our past? We not only have the choice, we have the obligation to make
this fraternity better in any way we can, any time we can. We seem to be
stuck in the past - perhaps we can focus on our future for a change. In
