First of all, I would like to apologize if I offended anyone with my last
post regarding the toast song. I did not intend to offend anyone, I was
merely trying to prove a point.

Secondly, part of the basis for my opposing the changing "Men of"
to "True to" is based on a very important factor in my chapter. I have
talked to most of the brothers in my chapter, and the majority of our
brothers are against the proposed changes. This also includes a majority of the
female brothers of my chapter.

Numerous female brothers in my chapter have also personally told me that
they have no problem with our toast song and do not want to see it
changed. They see the toast song as reflecting our heritage, and have no
intentions at making it politically correct. As the voting delegate for
Alpha Beta Omega Chapter, I must represent the views and the interests of
the chapter.

Finally, we must not forget why we are here. Alpha Phi Omega is a
national service fraternity dedicated to the principles of leadership,
friendship, and service. We are all "bound by a single tie," and we must
not let politics and the politically correct movement separate us (yes,
the toast song changes as I see it is a PC issue...).

In Leadership, Friendship, and Service,

                                        ||=       >  /     ~~~||
