I just got off the phone with Pat Burke (the National Executive Director)
about use of the email addresses that were posted here last week
(aponed@aol.com & aposec@aol.com). Here's the scoop:

The National Office is still learning how best to use email in its
operations. At this time, email should only be used for administrative
matters, for example, "We sent in our check for X a month ago and didn't
get it, what happened".

The Office is *not* set up to accept publications & merchandise orders
over the phone.

Please do not send messages just to say 'hi' or to test the address --
only send messages when you have business to conduct.

Your cooperation is appreciated.
