First of all, I can see no reason to curse my fellow brothers over
anything... let alone an honest mistake. I can definitely empathy with
Brother Hillis and his post. I used to forward similar messages to list
(maybe even the same exact one) in good faith only to find flame after
flame make it back to my mailbox... Excuse me, and all of us for that
matter, for not be omniscient.

I think we all know better now...
Remember everyone, no more chain letter! If in doubt, mail the
questionable message to your listserv. For APO-L, that is Ellen.

TOO MUCH MAIL???
Sure seems calm to me compared to the days of toast song and related
debates.

If you are getting too much mail, try the following:

1) Send message to Listserv@cc.vm.purdue.edu with the text 'set apo-l
digest' (no apostrophe) This will result in having only one message each
day.

2) Send message to Listserv@cc.vm.purdue.edu with the text 'set apo-l
nomail' (no apostrophe) This will turn off all mail while you are on
vacation. When you get back, do the same thing with mail instead of
nomail.

Take Care,
Liston

P.S. Can't we all just get along :-)

P.P.S. Anyone know anything about those annonying boot sector viruses
that don't reside in executables...
